FOKUS. International Fokus Photo Festival

The visit of the IPFA (International Photography Festivals Association) to FOKUS – International Fokus Photo Festival in Fier, Albania represented an opportunity to strengthen ties between organizations and to consolidate a global network of collaboration around photography. These encounters made it possible to exchange experiences, to gain a deeper understanding of the realities and challenges of each local context, and to present the Report on the Current State of Photography Festivals Worldwide, which offers a broad and comparative vision of the sector. The presence of the IPFA symbolized institutional support for the work of the teams driving the festivals and opened the door to new synergies that can strengthen both the international projection and the sustainability of each initiative.
