PARADAJS PHOTO FEST

PARADAJS PHOTO FEST is an international festival of contemporary photography and visual art in the UNESCO town of Banská Štiavnica. The 3rd edition will take place from 5 June to 5 July 2026, turning the town into a walkable map of exhibitions and events in unconventional indoor venues and outdoor locations. More than ten exhibitions by artists from Slovakia and across Europe connect strong authorial statements with Štiavnica’s unique urban, mining and natural landscape. The opening weekend (5–7 June) unfolds as a collective journey through the town, with exhibitions gradually opening alongside a lively public programme.
Paradajs Photo Fest 2026 is now accepting submissions for its upcoming exhibition program in Banská Štiavnica, Slovakia. We welcome projects across the full spectrum of photographic practice.
Theme: Welcome to Paradise. We are looking for original photographic projects that explore the theme of "paradise" through a strong visual language – ranging from poetic and surreal to critical and ecological perspectives.
