Born on 14 June 1986 in Belarus, she is a multidisciplinary artist specialising in graphic design, fine art photography, and teaching. She earned her master's degree in art history in 2012 and completed postgraduate studies in design and technical aesthetics in 2015. For more than a decade, she was an associate professor in the Department of Graphic Design at the Belarusian State Academy of Arts, where she also served as Acting Head. Since 2022, she has chaired the graphic design and photography section of the Union of Artists of Belarus. Her creative work has been featured in more than 100 exhibitions, including seven solo exhibitions in Belarus and Italy. Melnikova focuses on experimental and alternative photographic techniques, seeking to create surreal images that combine reality and fantasy.
