Visual artist and arts educator whose research and studio practice focus on photographic arts, with particular interest in experimental techniques, artists' books, printmaking, collage, and creative writing. Her work combines artistic production and teaching at different educational levels, and she is a photography teacher at Madison West High School. Her teaching experience includes institutions such as Madison College, Santa Reparata International School of Art in Italy, the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay, the University of Wisconsin-Madison, Peters Valley School of Craft, and Haystack Mountain School of Crafts. Her work has been exhibited regionally, nationally, and internationally. She is a member of professional organizations linked to art education, photography, and artists' books. She holds an MFA from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a BFA from the University of Texas at San Antonio.
