Biography

British visual artist and educator whose practice combines experimental photography, pedagogy, and analog processes. Trained in Fine Art with a specialization in sculptural ceramics and holding a master's degree in Photography, he has been teaching A Level Photography at WQE College since 2000. In 2011 he co-founded a community analog photography lab that provides access to darkroom facilities, film processing, and alternative process workshops, a space that remains active nearly fifteen years later. His artistic research focuses on building unconventional cameras from everyday objects and found materials, exploring single and multi-aperture pinhole techniques. Through these configurations he examines the fragmentation of light and the superimposition of perspectives, producing abstract images that challenge the notion of a single point of view and position photography as an accumulative, material, and perceptual process.
