Fonotipia Project is an artistic collaboration between Giulia Rossi and Gianluca Ferranti that merges sound and image to create immersive, multisensory experiences, bringing a unique artistic perspective that combines philosophy, aesthetics and the exploration of ambient sound. Fonotipia Project aims to be a dynamic platform for artistic expression. Since 2016, they have organised workshops at Technotown in Rome, combining analogue photography and innovative soundscapes. Giulia Rossi is a photographer from Rome with a background in philosophy and aesthetics. Educated at the European Institute of Design, she specialises in black-and-white photography and alternative techniques such as cyanotype and anthotype, enriching her distinctive artistic approach. Gianluca Ferranti is a sound designer and electronic musician from Rome, specialising in ambient music and soundscapes. His work explores the relationship between sound and space and includes compositions for various organisations.
