Visual artist and photographer whose practice centers on traditional and experimental black-and-white darkroom techniques, exploring the material and conceptual limits of analog photography. Through alternative processes and camera-less practices, he works with organic and inorganic matter to generate images from the dialogue among chemistry, light, and matter. His research addresses the transformations of human experience in the age of digital hyperconnectivity, reflecting on immediacy, memory, and the perception of time. He conceives photography as a means of recovering attention, waiting, and contact with the physical in the face of contemporary visual saturation, while also questioning the inflated value of the digital image produced and consumed on a massive scale. His work proposes a return to the essentials of the medium, where the image emerges from organic and uncontrolled processes. He is part of the Stattlab collective in Berlin, where he develops his laboratory and research practice.
