Giorgia Pinzauti y Tommaso Paris
Italy
Biography
Tommaso Paris and Giorgia Pinzauti are an artistic duo who merge philosophical and cinematic approaches with art history. By combining these disciplines, they seek to expand the limits of traditional narrative and visual art, creating works that challenge perceptions of time, memory and identity. Their work spans various media, from photography to video art, as in inSURrealist SURreaction (2023), a live AV performance exploring the myth of Orpheus and Eurydice, composed of archival films, mostly from the Dada and Surrealist period, edited together and accompanied by original electroacoustic sound by the group Hey! Himalaya. They explore themes and methods that aim to expand the limits of perception itself, both in the creative process and in the techniques they employ.
