Biography
Visual artist and educator whose practice focuses on creating photographic and ephemeral objects through the use of photosensitive emulsions and experimental processes. His work addresses the complex relationship between memory, time, and impermanence through images that form or fade over time. He has exhibited in more than twenty states and six countries. In 2025 he presented the project Beneath the Layers at the Metamorphosis of Time conference at the University of Gdansk, and in 2024 he held the solo exhibition A Silver Memory at Moreau Gallery at Saint Mary's College, bringing together six bodies of work developed over more than twelve years. His work has been published in more than fifty specialized outlets and he has taken part in artistic residencies in Iceland, Ireland, Canada, and the United States. He is a member of the International Society for the Study of Time and currently serves as photography coordinator and senior lecturer at the Center for Visual Arts at Johns Hopkins University.
