Kalie Granier

France

Kalie Granier is a French interdisciplinary artist based in Santa Cruz, California, on the unceded territory of the Uypi people. Her practice explores intertwined temporalities linking the past, present, and speculative futures, focusing on the relationships between human and non-human worlds. She examines the interdependencies between environments, ecosystems, and human bodies in the context of the contemporary geological crisis. At the intersection of art, science, and activism, she collaborates, engages in dialogue, and works alongside scientists, environmentalists, Indigenous communities, and others. She has exhibited internationally at institutions in the United States, Europe, and Argentina, and regularly gives lectures at universities such as the University of California, Santa Cruz, Santa Clara, and Stanford.
