​Laura Boronat Corral, born in Martorell near Barcelona, is a 20-year-old student in the final year of the Photography degree at the Institut d’Estudis Fotogràfics de Catalunya (IEFC). Alongside her academic training, she works as an instructor in artistic and cultural activities for children. Her interest in art dates back to childhood, influenced by the constant presence of photography in her family. During her artistic baccalaureate, she decided to focus on photography, thus beginning her studies at the IEFC. Since her experience at the Experimental Photo Festival in 2021, analogue photography has become one of her main working tools. Laura aims to expand her training in disciplines such as video, editorial design, and art direction in order to become a complete and multidisciplinary artist, aspiring to combine her passion for art with education so as to foster artistic sensitivity from an early age.
