Lilian Barbon is a visual artist, photographer and art educator, with a Master’s degree in Visual Arts and a specialisation in Photography. Since 2002, she has developed research in artistic photography, taking part in national and international exhibitions and festivals. She currently leads hybrid photography and art education workshops in various regions of Brazil. She has worked in curating and cultural event production and is also the founder of the workshops “Luz na Lata” and “Caixas Mágicas”. Throughout her career, she has received several awards, including the notable “Llamale H” in Montevideo and the prize at the 20th Encontro de Artes Plásticas. Her artistic practice focuses on experimental photography, combining mixed techniques and exploring themes such as the body, identity and self-representation.
