Biography

Visual artist whose life trajectory has been marked by experiences of migration and cultural displacement. Born in China and raised in different family contexts, she moved to Japan during adolescence and later studied in the United Kingdom. Layering personal experience with the technological and existential transformations of contemporary society, her practice addresses themes such as the subconscious, identity, belonging, adaptation, and the construction of relationships in changing environments. Experimenting with drawing, painting, photography, collage, and mixed media, her transdisciplinary practice adds layers and expands the possibilities of constantly transforming contemporary artistic expression. Her work inhabits a space of uncertainty and openness, understanding artistic creation as a tool for connection, community building, and the exploration of new ways of inhabiting both the earth and the world.
