Biography
Ludovica Bastianini (1986) is an Italian artist trained in Art History, Photography and Visual Arts. She studied Art History in Naples, at Idep Institute in Barcelona (2011), and at the New Academy of Fine Arts in Milan (2015). In 2017, she was selected as an emerging talent at the Circulation(s) Festival in Paris. Her works have been exhibited and selected in numerous prestigious festivals such as Portraits Hellerau, Vintage Photo Festival and the international photography symposium in Nida. Ludovica has collaborated with organisations such as Albatros Energy and Schindler Elevators and founded Depositodarte in Naples. Her work combines photography with mixed media, including painting, stitching and collage, with the aim of documenting reality while expressing the unconscious and invisible elements that complete it. She has been featured in publications such as Donna Moderna and Grazia France.
