Statement

I am interested in the various ways of expressing oneself: the body, the spoken word, pauses, silences. What is said and what is left unsaid. I work primarily on what is denied, ignored or evaded in what is immediate and close at hand. I weave together narratives that lead me to perceive a sensory memory. I see the question itself as a political stance.

I develop my artistic practice through the language of photography. Unrestricted by the formal constraints of its two-dimensional nature, I seek to remain attentive to the uniqueness of each project and to engage with other modes of production in the process of constructing meaning.
