Sophie Sherwood (they/them) is a visual artist and creative workshop facilitator based in South West England. They explore selfhood and nature through light-sensitive materials and darkroom techniques. They graduated with an MA in Photography from UWE Bristol in 2019, using their grandmother’s photographic archive to create new works. They obtained a BA in Photography from the University of Plymouth in 2012. Their work has been exhibited nationally, internationally and online. Organisations they have worked with include the National Trust, Alzheimer’s Society, Bristol Photo Festival, One25, The Photographer’s Gallery and Bristol Folk House.
