Stig Marlon Weston is a photographer and artist based in Oslo, Norway. After studying professional photography, he developed his artistic career while working with a range of clients, including magazines and commissioned projects. His work combines process-based photography and philosophy, using experimental techniques to connect the final image to a physical subject. Weston’s long-term projects explore the relationship between humans and landscape, while his smaller series focus on more playful themes. He is currently working on lumen prints and chemigrams inspired by Northern Norway. His work is part of the Norwegian National Museum of Photography and has been exhibited internationally. Weston also teaches workshops on camera-less techniques and project development, and runs the CYAN community darkroom in Oslo.
