Wendel Medeiros is from Brazil. He is a Professor/Artist/Researcher at the Federal Institute of Ceará (IFCE). He teaches in the Visual Arts Degree Programme (CLAV) and in the Professional Master’s Programme in Arts (PPGARTES). He holds a PhD in Education from the State University of Ceará (UECE) and a degree in Visual Arts from IFCE. His experience includes experimental photographic techniques such as cyanotype, anthotype and black-and-white film development. His current research focuses on experimental processes that establish a dialogue between photography, drawing and printmaking through the use of sunlight. He has taken part in exhibitions and festivals such as Festival de Arte Urbana Concreto (2015), Festival de Artes Manifesta (2015), SESC CARIRI (2015), Exposição CONTER (2016), MOSTRA[2055]UFRB (2020), Exposição Formas de Vida - ANPAP (2023), Exposição Internacional de Arte Glitch Online (2023), Exposição Vidas - ANPAP (2024) and Exposição Internacional de Arte Glitch Online (2024).
