Founded in 2017, Budapest Photo Festival brings contemporary and classic photography into museums, galleries and cultural institutions across the city for almost two months. Combining a strong curatorial vision with openness and dialogue, it creates space where local and international photography can meet, new audiences can approach the medium, and the city itself becomes part of the experience.
During our visit to Budapest Photo Festival we explored exhibitions across museums, galleries and cultural spaces, including Fresh Meat 2026, a showcase of young Hungarian photography. Pablo Giori also joined the Portfolio Review jury.
