Festival de Fotografia de Paranapiacaba is a photography festival held in the historic village of Paranapiacaba, in São Paulo, Brazil. Surrounded by the Atlantic Rainforest, the festival brings together talks, screenings, workshops and exhibitions, creating a unique dialogue between photography, heritage and the natural landscape.
During our visit, IPFA took part in the festival programme and celebrated its ongoing collaboration with Paranapiacaba. The programme included the exhibition Raízes Voadoras by Maria Solaguren-Beascoa, alongside work by Tatiana Cardellicchio, winner of the IPFA Award, as well as opportunities to connect with photographers, curators and festival professionals from across the international photography community.
