A visit to the 26th edition of Pingyao International Photography Festival, one of China’s major international photography gatherings. We presented an exhibition featuring 20 artists from the Experimental community, connected with festivals and professionals from around the world and celebrated one of our artists receiving an award.
During our visit to the 26th Pingyao International Photography Festival, we presented a collective exhibition featuring 20 artists from the Experimental Photo Festival community, bringing together different approaches to experimental photography in one of China’s most important international photography events.The experience went far beyond the exhibition itself. We explored the historic city of Pingyao, met photographers, curators and festival directors from different countries and exchanged ideas about future collaborations and international projects.One of the highlights was connecting with representatives from Busan International Photo Festival, Daegu Photo Biennale, PhotoVisa and Lianzhou Foto Festival, strengthening IPFA’s mission of creating meaningful relationships between photography festivals across borders.
