Founded in 1991, the Month of Photography Festival is Slovakia's longest running and most internationally recognised photography festival. Its programme presents work that responds to current events while holding to the autonomous values of the photographic image, with an emphasis on dialogue between cultures and perspectives on what matters for contemporary art and society.
The 35th edition of the Month of Photopgrahy / Mesiac Fotografie, curated by Václav Macek and organized by the team at Stredoeurópsky Dom Fotografie brings together more than 27 exhibitions and a unique spirit of collaboration.
