ITINERANT PHOTOGRAPHY FESTIVAL

FotoFestColombia is an independent, self-managed traveling photography festival that connects territories, communities, and perspectives through images. It began as a cultural initiative that seeks to strengthen the ties between art, memory, and territory, promoting photography as a tool for social transformation, reflection, and collective creation.

Its second edition, FotoFestColombia 2025 – From the Jungle to the Andes, expands the festival's vision by linking Putumayo and the Coffee Region, building a bridge between the Amazon and the Andean mountains. Through exhibitions, workshops, laboratories, discussions, and photographic tours, the festival provides a meeting place for artists, collectives, schools, communities, and the general public to explore Colombia's natural and cultural diversity.

More than just an event, FotoFest is a platform for collaboration and learning that promotes visual creation processes through self-management, popular education, and exchange between generations of photographers and filmmakers. Its purpose is to raise the profile of territories, strengthen creative networks, and position photography as a living language that connects art, territory, and consciousness.
